Oohh La La Lazy (Good N Lazy X Plenty Blue At Night) 2021 bay tovero mare.
In 2013 I purchased a beautiful blue roan frame overo mare from Wisconsin named Plenty Blue At Night (Mr Good And Plenty X Midnight Nightmare). She raised six foals by Good N Lazy. I sold her in 2020 to Shari Galbraith of BC as my arthritis had been extremely bad, and I needed to downsize.
Oohh La La Lazy is the last foal out of Plenty Blue At Night and by Good N Lazy. She was born in BC. When I saw Shari was selling on non-gaited horses due to back problems, I jumped at the chance to buy Paris. And here she is - now two years old and lovely. Paris is tovero, carrying frame from her dam and tobiano from her sire. She is 5 panel negative, homozygous black and hetrozygous for agouti, so she will produce black or bay based foals as a broodmare.
Paris is currently being started under saddle by Nicole Gauthier of La Plaine QH and Paints, with the hopes that she will be able to show as a 3 year old in 2024. Her first ride was November 24/23, first time loping under saddle December 8th. The video below was taken March 2024, after about 120 days under saddle. Paris wants to be slow, she has a great hock, she rides nice and level without a lot of work. We are very happy with how she's doing at La Plaine QH.
Paris's oldest full brother, Wright On Lazy, earned multiple futurity wins, Open show high point awards both Western and English, and APHA points in Open and Amateur Walk/trot before his untimely death in 2023 from inoperatable colic. We think Paris is very similar to Wright On Lazy.
